The car runs, my opinion, a lot better. During my driving and idling with this car, I noticed that the engine has a small pinging noise. Soon after I get a recall notice in the mail from Hyundai that during the engine building process, there were small metal shavings that were not completly taken care during the the assembly of the main bearings, thus this will cause a "pinging in the engine. Huyndai will futher investigate this matter and send another notice explaining a course of remedy. I was using Amsoil 5W-20 signature series oil, and since I live in Utah and according to the owners manual I can use 10W-30. I purchased 10W-30 signature series oil and when the time came to drain and fill with oil, I put in the 10W-30. There is no pinging noise, however to be truthful, I think because of the heavier oil I have not been getting the mileage that I did with 5W-20.
